ABOUT NAS HOUSE

Building Relationships.

Delivering Quality.

From the Pearl of Africa to your shelf.

NAS House is a Ugandan rooted coffee, agri & agro produce exporter. Our mission is to bring the rich, distinctive flavours of ugandan coffee to wholesalers, retailers and supermarkets worldwide. We specialise in sourcing premium Arabica and Robusta beans directly from the smallholder farmers who grow them — connecting the fertile highlands of Uganda to your shelves with integrity at every step.

Our Promise

This produces a fuller body with pronounced fruity, sometimes wine-like sweetness — popular for specialty and single-origin retail lines.

Arabica & Robusta – Excellence in Every Bean

Our Sourcing Process

1

Farm Partnership

Direct relationships with smallholder farmers across Uganda’s coffee-growing regions, agreed terms before harvest.

2

Harvest & Selection

Cherries hand-picked at peak ripeness and quality-selected at point of harvest.

3

Processing & Milling

Washed, dried and milled to export grade, preserving flavour integrity.

4

Grading & Cupping

Every batch graded by screen size and defect count, then cupped for flavour profile.

EXTRA ATTENTION

Grading & Cupping

We understand the need for rigorous quality control at Every Stage.

Quality control is embedded throughout our supply chain, not just a final checkpoint. Every batch passes through multiple verification stages before approval for export or blending

Physical Grading

Green beans are graded by screen size (bean size uniformity) and moisture content (target 10–12%) to ensure consistent roasting performance.

Defect Counting

Each sample is inspected against international defect standards, identifying primary defects (black beans, sour beans, foreign matter) and secondary defects (broken beans, shells, husks) to determine grade classification (e.g. Arabica AA, A, B; Robusta Screen 18, 15).

Density & Moisture Testing

Beans are tested for density and moisture stability to protect against spoilage during storage and transit.

Cupping Protocol

A trained cupping panel evaluates aroma, acidity, body, flavour, and aftertaste using standardised scoring, ensuring every approved batch meets our flavour benchmark before it’s cleared for blending or export.

Let's Build a Strong Partnership

We work hand-in-hand with farming communities across Uganda’s coffee-growing regions, building long-term relationships rather than transactional supply chains. By sourcing directly from farmers, we ensure fair, transparent pricing, consistent quality control, and full traceability — from the highland slopes where the cherries are grown, to processing & exporting to your store.
